Welcome to the Domske Farm in Ashe County, North Carolina.  Beautiful Ashe County was once called the Lost Province due to its remote location in the Western North Carolina mountains.  Although many people have discovered Ashe County since the first native americans and Scots-Irish, Ashe is still a peaceful mountain get away.  Ashe County includes the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson as well as many of the surrounding communities such as Warrensville, Lansing and Todd.  Boone, Blowing Rock, Wilksboro and Sparta are some of our neighboring towns.

The Domske Farm encompasses over 100 acres of fields and woods that lie along the banks of the New River.  The "New" is actually the oldest river in the United States and the only river that flows North!  The cold, clear water of the river is home to Brown, Rainbow and native Brook trout as well as small mounth bass.  Besides great fishing, the New is perfect for a peaceful afternoon canoe paddle or a float down river in an inner tube!

A small portion of the farm is cultivated with a market garden, pastures, an orchard and a pick-your-own berry patch. Most of the farm's acreage is home to an abundance of wildlife such as Eastern Wild Turkeys, Whitetail Deer, Red Foxes, bobcats and blackbears to name a few.  The girls sell our home grown produce at the Ashe County Farmer's Market in West Jefferson from April-October.

Visit the farm to pick your own berries(in season) or stay for a few days of relaxation in our cozy apartment and explore Ashe County and the Lost Province on your own!
